As AFC Challenge Cup is in the horizons, Nepalifootball.com will bring you analyses from National squad scene.
Karna Limbu is one of the unsung rising strikers of Nepali football. He scored six goals in 10th Aaha Gold Cup, 3 goals in the A Division national league and 11 goals in Martyrs' Memorial 'A' Division League. He made his total tally of 20 goals this season.
The best striker this season is Jumanu Rai with 25 goals. Although the top tier players did not played in the Aaha Gold Cup and Karna Limbu bagged six goals and the analysis might be thought with flaws. But what Nepal national team needs now is converting the chances and opportunities created by the midfielders and relieve the defenders from goalless anxiety created by current strikers.
Karna Limbu has been scoring freely in all major tournaments and that is the player worthy to lead the team upfront. His four goals against Pune FC supports that point. If ignored Nepal might meet the same fate of last years SAFF Championship.
