Defending champion Three Star Club made it third consecutive final appearance in the British Gurkha Cup after defeating Himalayan Sherpa Club in a tight encounter. Three Star defeated Himalayan Sherpa by 1 - 0 after 120 minutes of play in the first semi-final. Bikram Lama scored the winning goal for Three Star. The normal time of the match had ended goalless and Bikram scored the winning goal in second half of extra time added in 109th minute of the match.Bikram Lama was adjudged Man of the Match.

Three Star had more of goal scoring chances while Himalayan Sherpa also had occasional chances infront of goal. If they perform in similar fashion then nobody can prevent them from successfully defending the title.

Himalayan Sherpa coach Nawal Gurung was happy about his team's performance.

Gurung said "We played No Less Then Three Star ,It Is Just We Could Not Score,It Is Disappointing To Loose After Playing Good Game"

Three Star will now play either MMC or NPC in the final which will be played on coming Saturday. Three Star coach said "Either NPC or MMC Both Are Going To Be Tough Opponent In Final,Today Himalayan sherpa Played well ,They Have The Best Midfield At Present "
