AFC Challenge Cup: Philippines squad for Malaysia Friendly

The Philippine Azkals are to field a formidable lineup, including their Filipino-European booters, when they meet reigning Suzuki Cup champion Malaysia in a FIFA-sanctioned friendly on February 29.

The game falls on a FIFA international friendly date, thereby allowing professional football clubs to release the Fil-foreign Azkals in time for the Malaysia game.

Azkals team manager Dani Palami said a more complete lineup will be beneficial for the Azkals when they play versus Malaysia. Malaysia, a Southeast Asian football powerhouse, ranks 150th in the world. The Azkals, on the other hand, is ranked 156th.
