Nepal prepared for Indian challenge

Nepal will meet India in the first semifinal of 4th SAFF Women's Championship 2016 to be held at Kanchenjunga Stadium, Siliguri on Monday.

Nepal, that advanced to the semis as winners of Group ‘A’ will face runners-up of the Group ‘B’, India.

Nepal had won all three matches in the group stage and the coach was optimistic about getting similar kind of result tomorrow.

"We have been consistent with our performance and I see the same result coming our way tomorrow. We have put our plans to perfection and tomorrow is going to be the same," said Coach Kumar Thapa.

He also said that India as an attacking force is a strong unit, but Nepali defenders will need to stop them for the result.

"Bangladesh showed us that the Indian attack can be stopped with defensive tactics, but when we get into the pitch tomorrow, we will play our way and get the result", added Thapa.

Nepal will face India at 2:15 pm at Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri.
