Palestine also known as Al-Fursan (The Knights) and Al-Fid'ai (The Fighters)  are in Group A with Nepal, Maldives and Turkmenistan. They will play their opening match against hosts Nepal. Palestine has only two players with international caps above 30. One of them is jersey number 10, the midfielder and playmaker Ismail Amour (left in the picture).

Ismail Amour started his career with El-Meshtal and has played for several clubs like Shabab Al-Dhahrieh and Jabal Al Mukaber. He currently plays for Markaz Shabab Al-Am'ari.

He is the most experienced player after their captain cum goalkeeper, Ramzi Saleh with massive 66 caps for the team. Ismail Amour has scored 5 goals in 36 matches and in every match he scored, his team has not lost. His four goals came in victory while one ended in draw (2-2 against Iraq, 2007).

He will be main player to watch for Palestine as he will architect the game. Unfortunately he will be missing his first encounter of the tournament due to suspension.
